College Supervising

College supervision at the University of Cambridge is a form of small-group teaching where undergraduate students discuss a topic with a specialist supervisor, with me usually in groups of two, to receive personal academic support. I have supervised over #40 students for the Philosophy Tripos and the History and Philosophy of Science Tripos, Part II, on diverse topics such as: Metaphysics of space and space-time; Interpretations of quantum mechanics; Ethics and Politics of Science Technology and Medicine; Methodology of the human sciences; Philosophy of psychiatry; Science in Practice; Pragmatism; Reductionism; Explanation; Probability; Scientific realism; Laws of Nature; Time and possibility Supervised undergraduate dissertation project: "Empirical Testability of the String Theory Multiverse".
